چکیده

The regenerative endodontic procedure (REP) is an alternative solution for treatment of permanent teeth with incomplete root apex development. It results in angiogenesis, reinnervation, and further formation. Indications REP include immature necrotic pulp inflammatory lesions the periapical tissues. main contraindications comprise significant destruction tooth tissues a lack patient cooperation. We distinguish following stages this procedure: disinfection canal, delivery components, closure cavity, follow-up appointments. For effective canal disinfection, use both rinsing agents intracanal medicaments suggested. Sodium hypochlorite triple antibiotic paste are used most commonly. Light-activated proposed as method. prerequisite regeneration process supply its essential components: stem cells, growth factors, scaffolds to lumen. Blood clotting, platelet-rich plasma, fibrin purpose. proper course REP, it also necessary close tightly. purpose, mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), tricalcium silicate (Biodentine), or types glass ionomer cement employed. should attend regularly scheduled appointments each time undergo thorough interview, physical radiological examination. important indicator successful continued length thickness visible on X-rays. Many different proposals management protocol have been published; paper proposes authors’ original scheme. Regenerative endodontics future teeth; however, still requires lot research refine standardize protocol. application tissue engineering methods seems be promising, mature treatment.

Partial pulpotomy for immature permanent teeth, its present and future.

Traumatic or carious exposure of a vital pulp in an immature permanent tooth presents a significant clinical challenge to maintain proper vitality. Currently available procedures include direct pulp capping, complete pulpotomy and partial pulpotomy. This paper reviews the application of partial pulpotomy in immature permanent teeth and provides prognostic and technique guidance.

Provider Perceptions of Treatment Options for Immature Permanent Teeth.

INTRODUCTION Current treatment options for immature permanent teeth with pulpal necrosis include both apexification and regenerative endodontics. The purpose of this study was to survey endodontists on the use of these 2 treatment options. METHODS Surveys were created by using Qualtrics and Teleform software and distributed by using the Salant and Dillman method. Endodontists (n = 1615) in 4 ...

Scaffold based Regenerative Endodontics: Present & future

Most common treatment modality for a missing teeth these days is either a denture or implant based prosthesis. Great level of patient satisfaction has also been achieved with these two treatment options but scientifically speaking, both of these aren’t biologically totally in coherence with the host system as the chances of foreign body rejection is always with them. Hence as the research conti...

Recommendations for using regenerative endodontic procedures in permanent immature traumatized teeth.

The regeneration of immature permanent teeth following trauma could be beneficial to reduce the risk of fracture and loss of millions of teeth each year. Regenerative endodontic procedures include revascularization, partial pulpotomy, and apexogenesis. Several case reports give these procedures a good prognosis as an alternative to apexification. Care is needed to deliver regenerative endodonti...

A review of regenerative endodontics: current protocols and future directions

This review outlines the biological basis and clinical protocols currently used in regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) and discuss future directions in pulp regeneration approaches. The treatment of immature teeth with REPs has been described as a 'paradigm shift' as there is the potential for further root maturation. Clinically, REPs involve disinfection of the root canal system without ...
